Salsa Cabana Presents Salsa Fusion Classes in Huddersfield
Salsa Cabana dance classes are coming back to Huddersfield on 📆Thursday 22nd May 2025 at 7:30pm-9:30pm with Felipe of Salsa Cabana Cuban dance teacher and promoter of the Cuban arts.
With these new classes they will be focusing on
"The Roots Of Salsa" Cuban Son, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba, Afro Cuban, Cuban Salsa Partner work, Rueda de casino and much more.
Felipe is a dance teacher with over 22 years of dance experience. Starting with x-body Colombian style Salsa and now Cuban Salsa.
With many International Cuban artist already under his belt in bringing them to the UK for North or UK debuts.
Classes will focus on leading and following.
By learning steps in time with clave and music. You will also learn musicality, body movement and have an understanding of the roots of salsa of the history and dance. Also learning spatial awareness in dance.
It will be Salsa Fusion with an infusion of other styles.
Everyone is welcome. No Partner is necessary.
These classes are not choreography dance classes. These classes are Cuban dance classes with partners where you learn from beginning to end.
Classes are fun and relaxed and always have a great atmosphere with fun and laughter.

COVID: As you know the dance scene has change. With the classes starting I have no problem with people wearing masks to the classes if they want to feel safe and those who have been vaccinated can chose or not to wear masks.
Hand sanitizers will be available at venue. Though mask would have to be your own personal responsibility in bringing if you choose to.
*IMPORTANT* Please do not come to the class if you are experiencing Covid symptoms. These can be found on the NHS website.
I myself have started to self test on a regular basis. Again this is the responsibility of ones self.
Please wash and sanitize your hands.
If people just want to dance with your own partner then that is ok. Just let me know on the night.
