Welcome to the Riverside County Black Maternal Mental Health Workshop #2!

Date: Saturday, July 26, 2025

Location: Towngate Community Center, 13100 Arbor Park Ln, Moreno Valley, CA

• This workshop is for people who are pregnant or planning to get pregnant.
• New parents or those who recently had a baby.
• Family members and those who serve as part of a support system.
• Mothers and fathers that have questions about what you’re feeling.
• JOIN US! This will be an informative and supportive workshop focused on the mental health of Black mothers and fathers. Our expert speaker will cover topics that address the impact of nutrition on the overall mental wellbeing of pregnant and postpartum mothers and families. With a focus to break the stigma around mental health in the Black community. This in-person event will provide a safe space for open discussions and connections. Don't miss out on this empowering workshop!

Workshop will be led by Dr. Nicole L. Arkadie, EdD, LCSW, The Flame Haired Scholar who is a Mental Wellness Strategist.
