Rise & Shine: A Summer Series for Preteen Girls
A 3-Part Journey of Yoga, Songwriting & Self-Expression
Ages 9–13 | No experience needed
This is more than a workshop—it’s a creative circle where preteen girls can move, express, connect, and shine. Over three soulful sessions, we’ll blend gentle yoga, collaborative songwriting, and playful reflection to help girls feel grounded in their bodies and confident in their voices.
Session 1: Finding Your Flow
We’ll begin with a movement-based exploration of breath, balance, and inner strength. Through guided yoga, rhythm games, and journaling, girls will begin tuning into their feelings and ideas. We'll start sketching the first beats and themes of our original group song.
Session 2: Writing from the Heart
In this session, we dive into the magic of lyrics and melody. With journaling prompts,
story-sharing, and heart-opening yoga poses, each girl will contribute to creating a song that reflects their unique light and shared experience. We’ll explore harmony, voice layering, and self-expression through sound.
Session 3: Shine & Share – Creative Showcase
Our final gathering is a celebration of self and sisterhood! We’ll rehearse and record our original song, decorate lyric journals or keepsake covers, and create a simple performance space (optional family sharing welcome). We’ll end with a soothing yoga practice and herbal tea circle to close the journey.

Location: Terra Sol Sanctuary
Dates: July 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 2-3pm
Time: TBD (1 hour per session)
